A little about landscape designer Ginny Gregory...

Coming from Eastern North Carolina, nature and all it involves has always played a huge role in my life. I was the flower basket carrier for my grandmother as she cut flowers to later enhance every room in her house. I'd sit on a big stool on her screened-in porch and watch as the vases were assembled and the flowers were arranged. I later did the same with my mother becoming her personal gardener as she aged into her late 80s. Both of those women had a passion for color and texture... well, for beauty. I soaked it up like a sponge.

Later, when I was in my late thirties, I found myself arranging flowers I had grown (from my own flower farm) with the late Jenny Fitch from Fearrington Village. We had such a great time together. We had similar backgrounds and there were only eleven years between us. We knew how to “cut up” and create at the same. She saw the flash in my eyes as we talked about plants and gardening. With Jenny's encouragement, I was off to Sandhills Community College to get a degree in Landscape Gardening. I came back to Fearrington to enjoy a fourteen-year career as the village horticulturist.

Having always been a person of change, I was feeling the need for delicious creativity and garden dirt under my nails. Beyond The Pail was born to help put passion and beauty into the hearts and gardens of those who need a professional eye. Filled with energy and well-tuned experience, I am excited to offer many garden services .

I hope we have a chance to do a garden dance together.
